As per the Canadian Copyright Act, there is a 29¢ levy on every blank CD sold in Canada. This levy is, in fact, a royalty, set by the Copyright Board of Canada. It is to be collected by all re-sellers of blank CDs and remitted to the Canadian Private Copying Collective (CPCC). CDR prices on wimMedia.com include the CPCC 29¢ royalty. However, if you have a valid Levy Exemption Certificate, select "YES" above and enter the certificate number in the field provided.
