Shipping & Return Policy
Goods may be returned within 30 calendar days and must be accompanied by a "Return Merchandise Authorization" (RMA) number, provided by us for this purpose. All returned goods must be unopened and properly packaged. We can not issue a refund if the items you return arrive damaged due to lack of, or inadequate packaging.
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order by clicking on "Completed Orders" under the My Account menu and click the "Return Item" button. We will then notify you via email with an RMA number and instructions. Be advised that returns are subject to a 15% restocking charge.
Note: Clearance and Special order items are not returnable.
Our liability is limited to the manufacturer's warranty in regards to defective goods. Replacement of defective goods is the sole obligation of Western Imperial Magnetics Ltd. Any warranty expressed excludes the incidental and consequential damages caused by negligence or other fault, or inability to use the products.
Western Imperial's carrier for online orders is Canada Post and Purolator; however, we reserve the right to use other carriers when warranted. You may obtain a shipping quote by using the shipping estimation tool in your shopping cart.
All shipping is via "Expedited" service and includes a tracking number.
Delivery times may vary depending on location (the following are approximate timelines):
BC: 1 - 2 days
AB: 2 - 3 days
MB: 3 - 4 days
ON: 4 - 5 days
QC: 5 - 6 days
Maritimes: 6 - 8 days
All goods are shipping FOB our warehouse in Richmond, BC. Claims for damage must be made against the carrier within 2 days of receipt of goods. Any shipping discrepancies must be reported to Western Imperial Magnetics immediately.
Except for special order items, orders are shipped within 2 business days after payment is received (if longer, you will be notified).
Canadian or American statutory holidays may add an extra day to delivery times.
If your shipping address is outside of Canada, all applicable duties and/or taxes above the prepaid invoice price are your responsibility.
