Important Notice regarding CPCC Levy:
As per the Canadian Copyright Act, there is a 29¢ royalty on every blank CD sold in Canada. This royalty, set by the Copyright Board of Canada, is to be collected by all resellers of blank CDs and remitted to the Canadian Private Copying Collective
(CPCC). The royalty is used to pay musicians and songwriters as a form of compensation for unauthorized duplication of music. However, businesses and non-profit organizations that do not use blank CDs for personal copying can apply for a Levy Exemption Certificate by going to: https://cpcc.ca/zrtz/callweb.cgi?_proj=zrtz&_lang=EN
CDR prices on wimMedia.com include the CPCC 29¢ royalty. However, if you have a valid Exemption Certificate, select "YES" above and enter the number in the field provided. Confirmed "YES" orders that do not include a valid Levy Exemption Certificate may result in your order not being shipped, or canceled.
